Containment measures
Yesterday, October 31, 2020, the Portuguese government announced a new series of measures aimed at containing the increase in number of new cases of SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus infection. The increase in the number of infections has been seen in recent weeks in Portugal and inevitably implies the restriction of citizens' freedom of movement as a way of preventing the spread of the virus among the population.
It is common sense that the uncontrolled spread of a virus - whether in a pandemic scenario or not - leads to an increase in the number of cases verified among the population and that a portion of these are expressed in a presence in health care and hospital support services in the context of illness.
Well, faced with a scenario of exponential increase in the number of infected cases (an expected scenario) and, consequently, In a scenario of overload of hospital and healthcare services (a highly predictable scenario), there is no question of adopting additional measures that restrict the freedom to exercise economic activities by the various agents that make up our economy, including us same.
Let us not forget that at the front of the battle are health professionals and auxiliary support personnel for these same health professionals who, every day, they do their best so that our health services (private and public) do not collapse.
Let us also not forget that, in addition to the COVID-19 disease, the Autumn/Winter period is traditionally responsible for the increase in the number of cases of other pathologies present among the vulnerable population and which also affect us as a whole.
In other words, adding these two scenarios of increased hospital incidences to the others that occur naturally among the population (accidents, sudden episodes of illness, etc.). It is more than clear to us that we will agree and take precautions with the decisions that are and are made by sovereign bodies to contain (in the context of a pandemic) the exponential increase in the number of disease episodes seen among the population and avoid the collapse of health services.
We therefore ask our customers to fully understand any constraints that may occur in our on-site operations and that result from the adoption and full compliance with the standards issued by our sovereign bodies.
Previous Measurements
In addition to what is decreed in these coming weeks, we will continue to apply our detailed measures in May 2020 (at the end of the "State of Emergency" period).*

We are all still in this fight together.
